Chicago Innovation Lab

UCP Life Labs will bring an intensive, two-day design challenge to Chicago May 19-20, 2015. The Innovation Lab will take place at the Microsoft Technology Center and be co-hosted by Smart Chicago, a civic organization devoted to improving lives in Chicago through technology. A diversity of talent from a variety of fields will come together under the principles of universal design to dream up the next big idea for people with disabilities. Designers, engineers, and health care professionals are all encouraged to contribute their unique perspectives to the process. The event will end with teams pitching their prototypes to a panel of judges.
